New Teaching & Learning Centre Leicester

 

Providing new space for the University on it's Freemen's Common Campus in the city of Leicester.


This was including a 600 seat and a 250 seat Lecture Theatres as well as teaching spaces ranging from 30 - 120 people.


Full LV & ELV Containment System, Rising busbar, LV Distribution, Lighting, Power, DALI Lighting Control System, Underflooor busbar & Audio Visual Containment Systems.



This project was carried out for Imtech Engineering Services.



Arnold Hill Academy

 

A&A Electrical Carried out the full Electrical installation on this project for our client Wates Building Services.

 

Arnold Hill Academy was part of the Priority School Building Programme (PSBP), the new £14 million pound building is a three storey superblock incorporating all major teaching spaces wrapped around a four court sports hall and has a 380 person capacity theatre.

The New 280,000 sq ft commercial building overlooking Centenary Square, 12 floors of office space & a 2 storey Car Park.


This project was carried out for Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services, this was the full electrical installation and CAT A fit out of the office space.


Full LV & ELV Containment System, Rising busbar, LV Distribution, Lighting, Power, DALI Lighting Control System, Underflooor busbar & Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.


One Centenery Way Birmingham

 

Wakefield Waste to Energy

 

We completed this £15 Million pound project for Kier Infrastructure & Overseas over a period of 15 months. We installed the Shell and Core fit out to a waste to energy transfer station, where household domestic waste is sorted and recycled then converted in to electricity.

 

During this time we installed the site wide sub main infrastructure, installing containment, general lighting and power supplies to numerous stages of the recycling process. Throughout our time working at Wakefield Waste we worked across three separate sites these being South Kirkby, Glasshoughton and Denby Dale. Wilth all three set to open as recycling Centres.

A&A Electrcal carried out the full electrical installation to various buildings for our client Shepherd Engineering Services.

 

The centre has been purpose-built at the Stanford Hall Estate, Nottinghamshire, where it will provide world-class rehabilitation facilities for service personnel who have suffered major trauma or injury.

 

Its rehabilitation services are being transferred from Headley Court, Surrey, which has treated the nation’s service personnel for more than 70 years – most recently many of those veterans gravely wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

A national civilian facility for the NHS is also being proposed for the same site.

The DNRC was the idea of the late 6th Duke of Westminster, Gerald Grosvenor, who led the £300 million fundraising drive.

DNRC Rehabilitiaon Centre

 

CAMHS Secure Mental Hospital (Hopewood)

 

A&A Electrical carried out the full electrical installation for our client Imtech Engineering Services.

 

Hopewood is a purpose built facility for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Perinatal Services.


There is a 40 bed specialist inpatient unit tor those whose mental health difficuties can no longer be managed in the community. With over twice as many beds than previously available, Hopewood means more young people and women can be treated locally, staying close to home.

Hopewood includes the first dedicated specialist eating disorders inpatient service and first psychiatric intensive care unit for young people in the East Midlands.

 

Nottingham Bio City Discovery Building

 

A&A Electrical carried out the full Electrical installation for our client Briggs & Forester.

 

The £27 million BioCity Discovery Building is one of Nottingham’s most significant developments over the last decade and will support more than 700 new bioscience roles in the city over the next 30 years.

 

It is a mixed-use science and business hub featuring laboratories, office space, chemical and solvent storage rooms, and a café.

The building covers almost 7,000m² of office and laboratory space, with capacity for 350 users and eight tenants, with Sygnature Discovery being the facility’s main tenant.
